4. Operating information
The Accu Drive can be used without connection to the mains power supply.
However it is recommended to maintain connection to the mains power supply
because the batteries will be automatically recharged and battery life is
extended because the Accu Drive’s control electronics are being supplied from
the mains power supply and not the internal batteries.
If the front button is not pressed for 30 seconds the display returns to
“Status information” (see page 4).
As long as a
load
is connected to
the Accu Drive and the
remaining charge level is
sufficient
for operation of the connected device there will be no charging.
When there is no load on
the Accu
Drive
it automatically returns to charging mode to
ensure it is ready for use.
A reduction of the output voltage of up to 2V between two charging cycles is normal.
The high precision controlled speed of the turntable is dependent on the low ripple of
the power supply, not absolute voltage level.
When the indicated charge level reaches 9% the
batteries are nearly empty and should
be charged as soon as possible.
Please note:
The remaining operating time and the battery charge level are only estimates based
on measured values.
To prevent overheating of electronic parts never cover or put anything on top of the
Accu Drive.
Do not dispose of the unit in the domestic waste.
Do not expose the Accu Drive to a temperature above 40° Celsius.
If the Accu Drive is not in use for an extended period, turn it off at the rear panel
switch.
