The suction capacity can be adjusted in two steps by

4. Troublesshooting
Do not modify the filter unit. Repairs must be performed by
personnel trained by Weller.
If the filter unit is out of order, please check:
- Electricity supply connected correctly?
- Fuse broken?
If alarm sounds when starting and red indicator flashes:
Recommended filter lifetime is exceeded.
Indicates exchange of main filter. Restore the alarm with the
reset fuction on the control panel and plan for filter exchan-
ge. See ”Exchange of main filter” under headline 6
”Maintenance and service”.
If alarm sounds when starting and yellow indicator is shining:
Suction capacity is low.
Switch off the filter unit. Check nozzles and tubes, clean if
necessary. If the alarm comes back when starting, the filter
is used and must be changed. See ”Exchange of main filter”
under headline 6 ”Maintenance and service”. If no measure
is taken, the filter unit stops after five minutes to protect from
overheating.
Normal lifetime for a main filter within the electronic industry
is 1500 hours.
The main filter should be changed at least once a year to
guarantee the separation degree on gases.
Decommissioning
Attention!
A high concentration of pollutants will result in the active car-
bon heating up. The equipment should be run for several
minutes in a pollutant freestate before being switched off in
order to prevent unwanted heating up.
6. Maintenance and service
To guarantee a satisfactory function, clean the nozzle,
extraction arm and connection hose regularly.
Exchange of main filter:
- Swith off the filter unit .
- Loosen the top with the four knobs on the short sides of
the unit. Lift the top straight up.
- Pull the main filter straight up.
- Assemble a new filter, the text upwards. Make sure that the
inlet to the fan fits to the connection in the bottom of the
filter.
- NOTE!
The new filter has to be marked with the date of change (5).
- Put the top back.
When changing the main filter, the filter time is set to zero by
keeping the UP (+) and DOWN (-) button pressed and turning
the switch on at the same time.
NOTE!
The UP (+) and DOWN (-) button must be pressed until the
red light-emitting diode acknowledge the order.
