(2403) activates the stunning bolt due to spring tension and
strikes on the skullcap whereby the animal to be slaughte-
red is stunned (brain) (ill. A).
Compressing spring and shooting
ATTENTION! Compress shooting spring only directly be-
fore the shot. Grasp apparatus tightly with one hand at
roughened surface and pull the disc (2410) with the other
hand until the release button (2403) engages (ill. A). Do not
put your fingers in between the disc (2410) and headpiece
(3511) after having compressed the spring. The KTBG is
ready for use. Place the animal to be slaughtered on a
sturdy face. Place the muzzle on the upper middle of
head, alternatively between both ears (middle of brain)
and press firmly. The muzzle surface of casing (3516) must
lie completely flat on the head. The head of the animal
must be in a quiescent condition. Actuate release button
(2403) (ill. B). The animal is stunned and can be stabbed.
Cleaning
Clean apparatus thoroughly after every use with a damp
cloth or brush. ATTENTION! Cleaning is carried out exclusi-
vely with decompressed shooting spring.
Product liability/Guarantee
For the DICK apparatuses a guarantee of 12 months is
given to owners as from date of delivery (proof through
invoice). DICK is not liable for defects or damages caused
by improper putting into operation, unfit, improper, use
of apparatus not according to operating instructions or
without written approval by Friedr. Dick GmbH & Co. KG.
Furthermore DICK is not liable for defects or damages
caused by changes or repair, use of non-original spare
parts, parts subject to wear, accessories, overload,
improper handling and normal ware. Shooting spring,
stunning bolt and absorber (part subject to wear) are
basically excluded from the guarantee. The guarantee is
only valid together with invoice. In case of complaint,
please send original invoice together with written descrip-
tion of complaint. To prevent damages during transport,
please keep original packaging and use for delivery. The
guarantee is related exclusively to repairs concerning
faulty material and manufacturing. Faulty parts will be
either repaired or changed by us free of charge. Further
claims arise exclusively according to law when refused,
failed or unacceptable fulfilment according to our gene-
ral terms of sale, delivery and payment. Further informati-
on concerning the guarantee can be found in our general
terms of sale, delivery and payment.

be copied either wholly or partially or translated into another
