Check the operation of the flap. It must move smoothly
through the range of motion shown in the control throw
section of this manual.
Prüfen Sie die Funktion und Weg der Klappe. Sie muß sich
problemlos über den in dem Abschnitt der Ruderausschläge
angegebenen Bereich bewegen lassen.

Once the flap fit has been checked, remove the hinges. Tighten
the nut so the parts are seated, then loosen it just enough so
the parts move freely.
Entfernen Sie nach der Überprüfung die Scharniere. Ziehen Sie
die Mutter fest an und lösen Sie dann etwas wieder, so dass
das Scharnier noch frei bewegen kann.

The hardware must be checked every few flights
to make sure it has not loosened due to vibration.

Der korrekte Sitz und Befestigung muß alle
paar Flüge überprüft werden um sicher zustellen,
dass sich nichts durch Vibration gelöst hat.

Apply epoxy to the slots of both the flap and wing. Make sure
the epoxy gets into the slots for a good bond between the
surfaces and hinges.
Geben Sie in die Scharnierschlitze auf der Tragfläche und
Klappe Epoxy. Bitte achten Sie darauf dass der Klebstoff in die
Schlitze eindringt um eine feste Verbindung zu ermöglichen.

Apply epoxy to the area of the hinges that fits into the slots.
Use enough epoxy so the hinges will be fully bonded to the
fixed surfaces.
Tragen Sie Epoxy auf die Bereiche auf die in die Schlitze
gesteckt werden. Verwenden Sie bitte ausreichend Klebstoff
um eine gute Befestigung sicher zu stellen.

Fit the hinges to the flap and wing. Check the alignment as
described, then use a paper towel and isopropyl alcohol to
remove any excess epoxy.
Stecken Sie die Scharniere in die Schlitze auf den Klappen
und in der Tragfläche. Prüfen Sie die Ausrichtung wie vorher
beschrieben und wischen überschüssigen Kleber mit einem
Papiertuch und Isopropyalkohol weg.

Before the epoxy fully cures, remove the tape from around the
hinges. The will allow the epoxy to flow around the hinges,
creating a small fillet between the hinge and surface for a
finished look and secure bond.
Entfernen Sie das Klebeband bevor das Epoxy getrocknet
ist. Das läßt den Kleber einen Übergang zwischen Fläche
und Scharnier bilden der gut aussieht und für eine sichere
Verklebung sorgt.
