REMOVING THE UPGRADE FILES FROM THE DATACARD
The upgrade files must be removed from the data card before the upgrade data
card can be used as a normal data card for the DataLink module. If these upgrade
files are not removed the DataLink module will be very slow starting and the data
card will not be able to contain much data due to space problems.
Use a file management program on a PC to remove the upgrade files from the
data card, i.e. Windows Explorer. The following shows which data are to be
removed:

Double click the "My Computer" icon (the data card is in the PC card
reader).

Double click the icon for the data card drive, e.g. Removable disk (D:).
3 Highlight
the
"Update" folder.
4 Press
the
Delete-key on the PC keyboard.
5 Accept
file
delete.

The directory (folder) "Daten" MUST remain on the data card.

The data card is now ready for use in the DataLink module.
