5. Unpacking and connecting
5.1 Using the massage mat in a car
1. Place the massage mat 1 on the car seat.
2. Fasten the massage mat 1 carefully with
the securing straps 4.
3. Plug the car lead 5 into the cigarette
lighter or another suitable 12 V
connection.
4. Plug the power plug 2 on the car lead 5
into the power socket 6.
5.2 Using the massage mat at home
1. Place the massage mat 1 on a suitable
chair or armchair.
2. Fasten the massage mat 1 carefully with
the securing straps 4.
3. Plug the mains adapter 3 into a mains
socket that complies with the technical data.
4. Plug the power plug 2 on the mains
adapter 3 into the power socket 6.
6. Operation
The remote control has background
illumination. If this does not come on, the
background illumination will be switched on
first when button 11, 12 or 13 is pressed
for the first time. Only when the background
illumination is on does the button have the
function described below. The background
illumination goes off again after about 5
seconds.
If you press the OFF button 10, the
appliance switches off immediately.
6.1 Switching the appliance on and off
1. To switch the appliance on, press the
ON button 12.
The LCD display 9 shows "MODE 0”.
As soon as the appliance is switched on,
the timer will automatically start running
at 30 minutes. The remaining time is
shown in the LCD display 9.
To protect the appliance from being
accidentally left on, it automatically
switches off again after 30 minutes.
2. To switch the appliance off before the
30 minutes has expired, press the OFF
button 10.
6.2 Selecting a programme
There are 8 programmes (MODE 1 – 8)
available altogether. The programmes vary
in their intensity, the area massaged and the
massage rhythm.
1. Press the MODE programme button 11.
The illumination of the remote control will
be activated.
2. Press the MODE programme button 11
again.
The appliance switches to the next
programme and the motors start to work.
The selected programme number is
shown in the LCD display 9.
6.3 Switching the heater on and off
1. Press the heat button 13.
The illumination of the remote control will
be activated.
