If the Visualizer needs to be suspended further from the ceiling than with the supplied ceiling
mount (in order to allow greater magnification), a standard ceiling mount or ceiling lift for
projectors may be used. An adapter plate, suitable for weight and screw fittings for the
Visualizer, might be necessary.
Fixing the assembly to the ceiling depends on the particular construction and circumstances of
the desired mounting location.
Ensure that the ceiling construction is able to carry a weight of
80kg (176 pounds) and that possible collision accidents are prevented.
Important: Please give special attention to the country specific regulations for
training and conferencing rooms!

IMPORTANT: Ensure solid mounting and secure connection of all parts to
avoid the possibility that the unit detaches itself from the ceiling.
The Ceiling Visualizer can also be installed in a Plenum box which allows the unit to be turned by
+/- 45 degrees. To do this, the mounting plate must be installed in the Plenum box in a centred
position.
A non-centred position could later prevent the Visualizer from turning or releasing. A Plenum box
doesn’t allow a horizontal or vertical movement of the Visualizer. Please follow the instructions
outlined on pages 4ff to install the Visualizer in a Plenum box.

INSTALLATION OF THE VISUALIZER IN A PLENUM BOX
When the unit is built-in into the ceiling or plenum box, the infrared receivers on the sides are covered.
If the infrared receiver beside the main switch is covered or insufficient, the supplied external infrared
receiver should be connected to the "IR-SENSOR" port.
Alternative, the unit can be controlled with the RS-232, LAN or USB-port.
