3. Instructions for use of your fruit juicer:

• Fill the water pot up to approx. 2 cm under the edge with water and put the juice pot

on the water pot.

• Put the fruit basket filled with the fruit you would like to use into the juice pot. (Please

see the enclosed table for the suger quantity required).

• Then shut the filling hose with the fastener (pressure = open, release = shut).
• The water is brought to boil, the steam rises into the juice pot and opens the cells of

the fruit in the fruit basket. The juice which is set free gathers in the juice pot.

• The process of extracting the juice from the fruit takes 20 to 30 min for soft fruit (e.g.

strawberries or raspberries) 30 to 40 min for fruit which is less soft (e.g. currents and

blueberries), 45 to 60 min for hard fruit (e.g. apples or pears).

• After having extracted the juice form the fruit open the fasteners of the filling hose and

pour the juice into a bottle. In order to keep the botteling strile it is recommended to

pour the contents of the first bottle on the fruit again.

• Filling the bottles:

- The juice can be filled in nearly every type of bottle. It is recommended to clean the

bottles thoroughly the day before use and leave them completely filled with water.

- In order to clean the bottles as well as their caps or corks from germs please rinse

them with hot water before filling in the juice.

- After filling the bottles put the caps on without touching them inside. When the

juice cools down a vacuum develops inside the bottle. The middle of the cap is

moved somewhat in. Keep the bottles which are closed with caps standing upright.

- The bottles closed with corks have to be sealed with paraffin wax and kept lying.

Moreover, they may not be filled higher than up to 3 cm under the edgen.
