4. Switching output settings

By using the HPG 3000 it is possible to read the switching output settings of the EDS 410, change
and transfer back into the EDS 410. After each power-on of the HPG 3000 it is important to first
read the data from EDS 410 into the HPG 3000. Only after this procedure it is possible to change
the switching output settings, online or offline. When datas need to be transfered to the EDS 410
or datas again need to be received from the EDS 410 a working connection to the programming
unit is necessary.

By receiving the datas from the EDS 410, there is also the information of the pressure unit (bar or
psi) transfered, means, the changing of the switchpoint and hysteresis is direct in the correct
pressure unit of the EDS 410.

Abbreviations:

= read the actual switching output settings from EDS 410 into the
programming unit

= receive data (message)

= menu to change the switching output settings

= transfer the new settings to the EDS 410

= transfer data (message)

In the menu “cHAn“ follow switching output settings can be done:

6. Switching point
7. Hysteresis
8. Switching direction – N/O or N/C function
9. Switch on delay
10. Switch off delay

4.2 Switching point

Here it is possible to set the switching point. The output is working according the switching
direction (4.2) when the pressure exceed this value.
