Removingtheelectronicsfromthehousing

1. Remove the left hand side plate as described above.
. Remove the six self tapping screws from the right hand side plate

(equivalents of A thru F on the left side).

. Remove the front cover.
4. Slide the base extrusion off the terminal board.
. Remove the two bolts from the right hand side plate
(equivalent to G & H on the left side). Note the position of the insulator.
Assembly is the reverse of the disassembly procedure.
Warning: Correct insulator location is essential to product safety.

SettingtheBridgeexcitationvoltage

Select the maximum bridge excitation voltage that:

• is below the maximum specified for the bridge;
• will not exceed the rated current of the supply (10 mA).

To change the excitation voltage select the jumpers on the main board

as shown below (you will need to remove the left hand side plate and
power supply board).

Inputsensitivityadjustment

The bridge sensitivity (normally in mV / V) is the ratio of the bridge

output voltage to the excitation voltage at full load.

Full load output (mV) = Bridge sensitivity x Excitation voltage.
The bridge sensitivity is changed to suit the required Input Span (in

mV) by adjusting the value of R8 on the main board using the formula:

R8 (kΩ) = (00 x Input Span) / (76 - Input span)
Use the closest available reisistor that is higher in value.
You will only need to change this to change the input range for a

different strain gauge.
