Changing the microfiber stripes
To change the microfiber stripes, remove the upper arm of the cleaning and vacuum assembly by
loosening the side-mounted screw, then pulling the upper arm gently upwards.
Next, release the microfiber supporters from the upper and lower cleaning arms by applying a light
pressure at the end of each microfiber supporter, and then remove them (see Fig. 4).
Now peel the old microfiber strips away from their supporters.
Before attaching new microfiber strips, it is important to ensure
that any grease, dust or residual glue from the old microfiber
strips is removed from the microfiber supporter.
Apply new microfiber strips, firmly pressing them onto the
supporters.
We recommend changing the microfiber strips after
approx. 100 cleaning programs, though this will depend on the
condition of the records cleaned.
Cleaning and draining the waste fluid tank
Over time it is possible for residue to settle in the waste fluid tank which could potentially block the
drain tube. To avoid this happening you should periodically clean the waste fluid tank.
1. Remove the upper suction arm by loosening the side-mounted screw and pulling it gently and
steadily upwards.
2. Place the filling funnel into the suction tube.
3. Pour the flushing liquid in the waste tank. For waste tank flushing we recommend using 2
tablespoons of vinegar in ½ litre of warm water.
4. Let the flushing fluid sit in the waste tank for approximately 20 minutes, then drain it into a
clean receptacle by removing the sealing plug from the drain hose. Repeat this process until the
drained flushing fluid is clean and does not contain any reside.
Important:
Be sure to seal the drain tube with the sealing plug before using the
Double Matrix
Professional Sonic . The Double Matrix Professional Sonic will only create a vacuum when
the drain tube is sealed.
