Savoury batter for nut waffl es/patterned waffl es
Ingredients:
♦ 200 g fl our
♦ 125 g margarine
♦ 1 egg
♦ ¼ tsp baking powder
♦ 1 pinch sugar
♦ 1 pinch of salt
1) Whisk the margarine, the sugar, the egg and the salt.
2) Mix the fl our and baking powder together and add this.
3) Whisk everything at maximum speed with a hand blender.
NOTE
► The savoury nut waffl e/patterned waffl es can be fi lled with a wide variety
of diff erent ingredients, such as cream cheese, herb curd cheese, aioli,
tzatziki, melted Gouda cheese etc.
