Troubleshooting
Symptom Correction
No picture • Pay attention to the cable connection.
• Turn on the LCD and choose the relevant input.
• Press the TV MODE button more than one time or
on the device until a stable picture appears on the
screen.
• Connect at first the device with CVBS to the TV set
and press the TV MODE button more than one
time or on the device until a stable picture appears
on the screen.
No sound • Pay attention to the cable connection.
• Are the settings of the LCD is correct?
• Please make sure, that the audio track exists.
• Please control the settings by external sound
system o amplifier, so that the correct soound input
is in use.
• By YUV connection please install the Audio
connection (refer page 13).
• AV-Receiver or Soundsystem is ON?
• Control the paramters of the music file or the audio
track of the movie.
Interference or
scrolling • Check TV type is correct: PAL/NTSC.
• Due to the effect of copy protection. Avoid
connecting to a VCR or TV/Vcr combination.
• Adjust the vertical hold on your TV.
• Press the TV MODE button more than one time or
on the device until a stable picture appears on the
screen.
False colour
displaying by YUV
connection • Conntect the phone jack of the YUV adapter cable
complete into the YPbPR connector.
• Pay attention to the colour coding on the cable and
the connection to the TV set.
• Press the TV MODE button more than one time or
on the device until a stable picture appears on the
screen.
USB / Card
Reader:
Jerking during
play-back • By very high bit rates and transmission erros of the
video file (for example DVB-S or DVB-T streams)
can be some jerking visible. Control the bit rate or
delete the errors from the video stream.
