EMPTYING THE BIN:
If the bin is full (7), the machine switches off. The
pilot lamp II (5) comes on. Proceed as follows:
- If necessary, unlock the door, open it and pull

the bin out (7) (fig. 4).

- Push the emptied bin (7) back into the machine

housing again as far as it will go, as shown
(Fig. 5), and close the door. The pilot lamp II
(5) flashes.

- Acknowledge the ready state (press Start/Stop

on the keyswitch). The pilot lamp II (5) goes
out.

Note: The machine only works when the bin is
fully pushed in and the door is closed!

When “Bin full” is displayed, the
bin must always be emptied before
continuing to use the machine.

CONTROLS:
4 = Pilot lamp I (Fig. 2)
“Ready”
Comes on
when the main switch (1) is

switched on.

Note: Every time the machine is switched on,

the control is automatically re-initialised. To
indicate this, this pilot lamp flashes for a few
seconds after the machine is switched on.

5 = Pilot lamp II (Fig. 2)
a) “Acknowledge”
Flashes when the machine is switched

off and on again at the main switch or
when readiness of the machine has
not yet been acknowledged again after
elimination of a fault.

Acknowledge readiness of the machine

by briefly switching the keyswitch (2)
(Fig. 2) to the right to Start and back to
Stop again.

b) “Overload cutting unit”
Flashes when the cutter is blocked due to

an overload (see description under “OVER-
LOAD OF THE CUTTING UNIT”).

c) “Door open”
Comes on if the door is open. The

machine is automatically switched off
and cannot be started as long as the door
is open.

d) “Bin full”
Comes on if the bin is full and must be

emptied. The machine is automatically
switched off at the same time (see
description under “EMPTYING THE
BIN”).

e) „Motorstörung“
Comes on when the motor has been

overloaded. The machine cannot be started
during the cooling-down phase of the motor.
At the same time, the pilot lamp I (4) (fig.
2) goes out.

USE OF THE MACHINE:

The machine is only designed for
compacting empty non-returnable
plastic bottles and drink cans. Glass
bottles, tin cans for preserves or
other solid materials such as metal
sheets or pieces of wood etc. must
not be fed in!

Before using the machine, put safety
goggles on.

Proceed as follows:
1.
Switch the machine on at the main switch (1)

(Fig. 2) (position “I”). The pilot lamp I (4) (Fig.
2) flashes briefly and is then permanently lit.
In addition, the pilot lamp II (5) (Fig. 2) also
flashes.

2. Briefly turn the keyswitch (2) (Fig. 2) to the

right to Start and then return to Stop. The pilot
lamp II (5) (Fig. 2) goes out.

3. Feed non-returnable plastic bottles or drinks

cans one at a time into one of the two feed
tubes (6) (fig. 3).

Note: Both feed tubes can also be loaded

with material at the same time.

4. As soon as the material passes the light

barrier (3) (fig. 3) installed in the feed tube, the
machine is automatically switched to forwards
mode and the material fed in is compacted.

4. After the compacting process, the machine

is automatically switched off after a certain
follow-up time.

Note: To use in continuous operating mode, turn
the rotary switch (2) (Fig. 2) to the right to Start.
To stop continuous operating mode of the cutter,
briefly turn the rotary switch to the left to reverse
or turn the main switch (1) to the left.
