Activate or deactivate the remote access

11.5.8.3

Access your answering machine remotely

You can ring your Phone from another tone-dialling phone to switch
on or off the answering machine and listen to your messages remotely.
tPlace a call from a tone-dialling phone to your Phone.
tWhen the answering machine answers the call and starts playing the

OGM, press the * key. The OGM will stop playing.

Note:
Enter the * while the OGM is still playing and then enter the 4-digit PIN
without any delays.

tEnter the 4-digit Remote Access PIN (default 0000). You will hear a

short confirmation beep and will then need to press the 5 key to start
playing any messages.

Note:
If the 4-digit Remote Access PIN is not recognised you will hear a multi-
beep error tone, and will need to enter the 4-digit PIN again. If the PIN
is entered incorrectly three times consecutively, the line will be released
automatically.
