4 Maintenance

- The maintenance has to be carried out about every three months and is composed by following operations:

a) Lubricate the guides and the spindle of the basket;
b) Lubricate the telescopic transmission placed on the basket (in front of the closing lever); to carry out this operation

close as much as possible the rotating plates, so that the telescopic transmission is completely extended; then,
proceed with the lubricating of all components. Move the rotation plates away.

c) Lubricate the bearing (bush) of the brake lever and its eccentric. For this lubricating intervention, we suggest the

use of common grease.

- Verify the belt tension.
- All belts must have an optimal bump position of about 10 mm.
- The bump position is measured in the centre of the interaxis of the pulleys (see scheme D). If the tension doesn't
correspond to these values (that is, when it is more than 10 mm) and therefore the belts slip, causing other problems, adjust
it as follows:

- Belt (D3): loosen the screws of the guide pulley (D2); tighten the screws as soon as you get the desired tension.
- Belt (D1): loosen the screws of the guide pulley (D4); tighten the screws when you get the desired tension.
- Belt (D15): loosen the two screws (D11) of the support (D17) and the lock nut (D16), rotate the strut (D14) in

anticlockwise, operating of the relative site for the key.

- Tighten the lock nut (D16) and the screws (D11) when you get the desired tension.
- During this phase verify that the support of the pulley (D12) is parallel to the backside of the machine.
- If after this operation the pulley (D19) is not aligned with the sheaves (D13), loosen the two screws (D18), align the
pulley and tighten the two screws (D18) again.


5 Notes

- The electrical plug has to be connected to a current tap correctly earthen.
- Should the machine stop during the working (and if the green light should be off, too), wait 5 minutes before any
intervention: if, after this period, the green LED shouldn’t light on, this means that the interruption hasn't been caused by an
overload of the motors. Shouldn't be this the case, proceed as follows:

FIRST OF ALL, DISCONNECT THE CURRENT PLUG!

- The green LED remains off even with pushed Switch (A9): verify the condition of the lamp. Substitute the eventual defect
lamp with another one with the same features (BA9 3W 220Vac).
- If the lamp is not defecting, verify the safety.
- The safeties of the machines are in the internal of the electrical control board (scheme E).
- If necessary, substitute the securities (E4) (securities in ceramic 8.5 x 31; 8A).
- If the machine doesn't start, even if the green LED is on, control the limit switch placed on the backside of the machine. If
defect, substitute the spring (B5).
- In any other case, ask for the intervention of an assistance technician.

- The sonority emission relative to the workstation is under 70 dB (A).


6 Cleaning


- The tank of the device is provided with a drainpipe, in order to simplify the cleaning of the machine.
- The cap of this pipe is placed on the front side of the lower part of the machine (B11).
- Remove from the tank, etc. the product come out from the basket parts. For this operation you can only use detergents,
which damages neither the painting of the machine, nor its components.
- In the case of employ of products that could be dangerous for the health or that constitute an explosion danger, it is
absolutely necessary to respect all the precautionary measures and the indications written on the package! Take all
necessary measures to avoid any explosion!
- To be carried out after cap removal.
- After all cleaning interventions, we suggest carrying out the lubricating according what described in paragraph 4, points a),
b) and scheme C.
