To loosen tension strap
Bring ratchet handle up and pull tab toward top of handle (1).
Hold tab and continue to fold handle into the shown direction (2)
until it has cleared the ratchet teeth and can be locked into place
on the backside. Pull strap to get the desired amount of slack. For
quicker deployment pull strap housing away from strut (3) and
pull the strap.
To tighten tension strap
After all of the extra strap is rolled back up with the hand crank
use the ratchet handle to tighten the tension strap as necessary
by up-and-down movements (4).
To extend the QuickStrut
Press handle directed to the strut (5). Leg should move freely.
Once it is in the desired position release the handle.
To make incremental adjustments
The shaft on the side of the handle can be turned with a hand tool
to make incremental adjustments to the extended leg.
NOTE: Do not use this feature for lifting or spreading.
To lock the leg
To lock the extended leg, use one of the hand tools thru the lo-
cking shaft / eccentric shaft of the strut. Turn until it is secure (6).
