3. Select the display span adjustment range switches (see below).
4. Select the display decimal point selection
5. Adjust the Zero and Span controls to give the desired display range.

• Calibration

All instruments are fully calibrated before leaving the factory and should
not need adjustment until the next scheduled calibration.

Equipment requirements
• A suitable mA current source (e.g., Portacal 1000)
• Flat bladed screwdriver (blade width less than .54 mm / 0.1 inch)

ZERO and SPAN adjustment
The ZERO and SPAN controls are marked Z and S respectively. Turn
the control clockwise to increase the output level.
1. Connect the current source up to the inputs.
. Set the input source 4.00 mA.
3. Turn the ZERO adjustment until the display shows .
4. Set the input source to highest temperature in the range required.
5. Adjust the SPAN control until the output is at 0.00 mA.
6. Recheck the ZERO adjustment.
This completes the calibration procedure.
