The IE-SWx-M is uses to set up Industrial Ethernet networks. To permit decentralised industrial network
configuration, many applications require a central switch to be installed in the control cabinet. This is
the task assumed by the IE-SWx-M. With the aid of the IE-SWx-M, it is possible to structure industrial
networks as necessary to optimize the transport paths and transport times for network traffic.
