The IE-SWx-ADVANCED is uses to set up Indistrial Ethernet networks. To permit decentralised industri-
al network configuration, many applications require a central switch to be installed in the control cabi-
net. This is the task assumed by the IE-SWx-ADVANCED. With the aid of the IE-SWx-ADVANCED, it is
possible to structure industrial networks as necessary to optimize the transport paths and transport
times for network traffic.
The switch is a Plug and Play device with ST or SC fiber connections.

The IE-SWx-ADVANCED is designed for the application in the industrial environment (IP20). The pro-
duct is equipped with Ethernet interfaces and serves exclusively for the connecting of components insi-
de of network. The data communication between these network participants is enable by the connec-
tion of network components.
