Weidmueller’s managed switches enable industry networks to be structured in order to optimise trans-
port routes and times for network traffic. The various network components are cabled together hierar-
chically in a physical star. The main distributor in the field, in this case the Industrial Ethernet switch
IE-SW-8-M-IP67, is the central switching point.
The IE-SW8 IP67 switches are surrounded by a stable plastic enclosure with connections
which are IP67 conform. The device is equipped with 8 ethernet ports.
For the SPS intergartion an I/O relais is intended. The devices can be operated in an ambient tempera-
ture range from -40°C to +60°C. The following features are supported:

The IE-SW8-M-IP67 is designed for the application in the industrial environment (IP67).
The product is equipped with Ethernet interfaces and serves exclusively for the connecting of compo-
nents inside of network. The data communication between these network participants is enable by the
connection of network components.
