Software Installation
Close all application programs on the system!
Insert the CD in the local CD ROM drive. The install-
ation program will start by itself (Autostart enabled).
Otherwise change into the root directory on the CD and
start Autorun.exe (Autostart disabled).
NOTE Administrator privileges are required on
Windows NT systems for installation!
The installation program ask for the components you
want to install. Answer these questions with Yes or No.
It will install
• System Configurator SyCon
• OPC-Server
• CIF Device Driver.
If you have a license code or it is labled on the CD, then
answer the question for an existing license code with
yes, otherwise a demo version of the system configura-
tor will be installed. Enter your name and the company
name.
Installation SoftPLC Driver
The description of the installation is on the CD in
\DRIVER\SOFTPLC\. To use the SoftPLC Driver a
license on the CIF is necessary.
Installation DDE Server
The description of the installation is on the CD in
\DRIVER\DDE\. To use the DDE Server a license on the
CIF is necessary.
Installation der Software
Schließen Sie alle Programme!
Legen Sie die CD in das lokale CD ROM Laufwerk.
Das Installationsprogramm startet selbständig
(Autostart eingeschaltet). Andernfalls wechseln Sie
in das Root Verzeichnis der CD und starten Sie
Autorun.exe (Autostart ausgeschaltet).
HINWEIS Unter Windows NT benötigen Sie Admini-
stratorrechte zur Installation!
Das Installationsprogramm fragt, welche Komponenten
installiert werden sollen. Beantworten Sie diese Fragen
mit Ja bzw. Nein.
Installiert werden
• Systemkonfigurator SyCon
• OPC-Server
• CIF Device-Treiber.
Wenn Sie einen Lizenzcode haben oder dieser auf der
CD angegeben ist, dann beantworten Sie die Frage
nach einem vorhandenen Lizenzcode mit ja, ansonsten
wird eine Demoversion des Systemkonfigurators instal-
liert. Geben Sie Ihren Namen und den Firmennamen
ein.
Installation SoftSPS-Treiber
Die Beschreibung der Installation ist auf der CD in
\DRIVER\SOFTPLC\ vorhanden. Zum Betrieb des
SoftSPS-Treiber ist eine Lizenz auf dem CIF notwendig.
Installation DDE-Server
Die Beschreibung der Installation ist auf der CD in
\DRIVER\DDE\ vorhanden. Zum Betrieb des DDE-Ser-
vers ist eine Lizenz auf dem CIF notwendig.
