1.2. Field of application
Installation into the head-end base unit
The power supply units of the SKZ 5-01 and SKZ 5-04 type are suitable for installation into the SKS 40-00 and SKS
4-01 base units. The power supply unit of the SK 6-00 type can be installed into the SKS 8-00 base unit.

*The SKZ 5-03 power supply unit is not intended for installation into a base unit.
Use as an external device
If necessary, the power supply units may also be operated externally, without installation into a base unit. This
makes it possible to implement tailored and cost-efficient solutions. The head-end cassettes can be used as stand-
alone devices if required.
