Power supply
The power for the bike speaker is supplied by three commercially available AAA batteries. Re-
chargeable batteries of the same type can also be used.
• Always insert the batteries with correct polarity; never try to recharge normal batteries and do
not throw them into fire under any circumstances (risk of explosion).
• Only use batteries of the same type and the same charging capacity. Remove the batteries if
you will not be using the device for an extended period of time.
• In case of improper use, there is a risk that the batteries may leak or explode. Leaking or dam-
aged batteries can damage the bike speaker and the audio device. Contact with skin will cause
chemical burns. This is why it is absolutely necessary to remove batteries with acid-resistant
protective gloves.
Repair and maintenance
Repair work is required if the device was damaged, liquid has reached the inside of the housing or
the device is no longer working perfectly. In such cases, the device may no longer be used until the
required repair is carried out by a qualified technician. Never open the electronics of the device.
This would void your warranty.
If the housing is very dirty, clean it only with mild soapy water, never with caustic cleaning prod-
ucts. First, remove the audio device and ensure that no liquid reaches inside the housing. The
inside of the device should only be cleaned with a clean, dry cloth.
Disposal of old devices and batteries
The product bears the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin. It is therefore subject to the European
Directive 2002/96/EC.
All old electric and electronic devices must be disposed of separately from domestic waste
in the official locations provided for this purpose. The proper disposal of the old device
helps to avoid environmental damages and health hazards. You can obtain additional in-
formation about the disposal of the old device from your municipal government, the waste
disposal office or the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
Think about protecting the environment. Used batteries should not be disposed of in domestic
waste. They must be taken to a collection point for old batteries.
