First time usage
1. Open the battery compartment ‘. Insert 3 AAA batteries, mak-
ing sure they are aligned with the correct poles. Close the com-
partment.
2. Connect the jack “ to the headphone jack of your audio device,
activate the music output on the audio device and set it to a low
volume.
3. Slide the switch  to “ON” (LED ’ lights up) and set the de-
sired volume on the audio device.
4. Store the audio device in the device compartment  and close
the zip of the bike speaker.
The speaker cable may not be folded or kinked during this. The
audio device must loosely fit into the device compartment. Oth-
erwise operation is not permissible.
5. Fasten the bike speaker to the bike’s handlebars with its Velcro
fastening. Always use both fastenings!
Troubleshooting: If the LED ’ does not light up, check whether the switch  is set to “On”. If this
is the case, check the position of the inserted batteries (polarity) or change the batteries. If the LED
’
lights up, first check the function of your audio device with the original headphones, then with
the speaker cable.
Operation and turning the device off
Danger: During operation, ensure that the bike speaker does not impair any functions on
the bicycle that are relevant to road safety (lights, brakes, bell etc.) and that the bike speaker is
not a hindrance while riding the bicycle (no limitations to steering angle, brakes and bell easily
accessible etc.).
Danger: Never operate the bike speaker and the audio device while riding the bicycle!
• When opening the housing, make sure that the audio device does not fall out!
• Switch the speaker off (switch  to “OFF“) when you are not using it.
• If you will not be using the bike speaker for an extended period of time, remove the batteries
and store the device in a dry place.
