Q

Instructions

Note: The playing area of the board consists of
indentations arranged in the shape of a star into
which the pieces are placed.

Q

Getting ready

For a game between two or three people, each

player requires 15 playing pieces. Ten playing
pieces of each colour are included. Each player
takes all the playing pieces of one colour and
5 additional playing pieces of another colour,
e.g. red and yellow, black and green, natural
and blue. For a game between four or six people,
each player requires 10 playing pieces. The
game generally starts as follows: Draw lots to
decide who is to start the game. The play
moves clockwise around the players.

Q

Aim of the game

The objective of the game is to get all your playing
pieces from your triangular starting camp into the
opposite triangular finishing camp. The winner is the
first player to do this.

Q

how to play

Move a piece by placing it into an unoccupied
indentation next to it. You can move forwards,
backwards or sideways.

You may jump over your own or an opponent’s

playing piece if it is on an adjacent square and
the square behind the jumped-over piece is
free. Any piece jumped over remains in its
place on the square.

If you have jumped over a piece and find that

you can immediately jump over another piece
with the same piece then you may do this in the
same move. A move can cover quite a distance
over the board using this technique.

If a player cannot place all his playing pieces

into his finishing camp because his opponent
still has playing pieces there, then the player
can miss a turn. This may provide his opponent
with the opportunity to clear the square.

Q

Cleaning and Care

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or
abrasive cleaning agents. These may damage
the product.

Use a slightly dampened, non-fluffing cloth to
clean the product.

Q

disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recy-

clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
