5.5 Justage Druckkopfabstützung
Beim Bedrucken schmaler Etiketten (Breite < ca. 60 mm) ist
es möglich, daß der Druckkopf in dem Bereich, in dem kein
Material liegt, direkt mit der Druckwalze in Kontakt kommt.
Der Druckkopf liegt nicht mehr plan auf dem Etikett auf.
Mögliche Folgen:
Ÿ vorzeitiger Verschleiß des Druckkopfes durch Abrieb,
Ÿ Unterschiede in der Druckintensität zwischen den
Etikettenrändern.
Aktivieren Sie bei schmalen Etiketten
die Druckkopfabstützung!
1. Feststellschraube (2) lösen.
2. Feststellschraube (2) im Formloch (3) verschieben.
Exzenterförmige Druckkopfabstützung (4) wird gedreht
und stützt den Druckkopf (1).
Empfehlung für breite Etiketten: Stellung "2a"
(Abstützung nicht wirksam)
Empfehlung für schmale Etiketten: Stellung "2b"
Entscheidend für die Einstellung ist
das Druckbild!
3. Feststellschraube (2) anziehen.

5.5 Adjusting the Printhead Support
When printing on narrow labels (width less than 2.5 in or 60
mm), it is possible that the printhead will come into direct
contact with the drive roller, this will cause the printhead to
not evenly contact the label material.
The following faults can occur:
Ÿ premature wear on the printhead caused by friction;
Ÿ inconsistent print image density from one edge of the
label to the other.
Activate the printhead support when
using narrow labels!
1. Loosen the locking screw (2).
2. Move the screw (2) as required within the adjustment
slot (3). This will cause the cam shaped printhead
support (4) to rotate, in effect, providing a higher or
lower base on which the printhead (1) rests.
Recommendation for wide labels: Position "2a"
(no support)
Recommendation for narrow labels: Position "2b"
Adjust the cam to the best image
possible!
3. Tighten the locking screw (2).
