Torque limitation option
The limitation of the torque is separate for both
setting directions via a potentiomenter each which
can be set from 0 to maximum value. On reaching
the torque limit a signal with U=U

rated

is given via

terminal 26. The signal can take a maximum load
of 0,1 A.
After addressing the torque limit - as long as the
control signal lasts - the expected torque is
checked every 8 s. In case of fall off, the preselected
value is readjusted by briefly switching on the
motor.

Reset option in case of power cut
In the case of a power cut, rotary actuators with
integrated emergency power supply automatically
drive the setting element to a defined limit position.
The resetting in the case of a power cut includes
the torque limit.

Significance of potentiometers 1 and 2 as for the
torque limitation.
The limit switch cams are adjusted at the factory
and protected with varnish .
Attention: Readjustment of the cams negates the
warranty!

Notes about NC cells
The NC cells are fully recharged 10 hrs after
connecting the operating voltage (connections1
and 4). It is advisable to replace the NC cells
routinely every two years.

Note for additional limit switches
The microswitches S5 to S8 serve as position
indicators.
! For mechanical reasons, the limit switch is
not just operated by the cam at one point but
across an area. If the response only occurs
at one point, two additional limit switches
are required for the respective overlap.
