Split image of 9 picture memory

Up to 9 images can be stored in the built-in memory and
recalled with one of the numerical keys (#43) on the infrared
remote control:
Storing an image: Press one of the MEMORY keys (#43)
for 2 seconds or more
Recalling an image: Press one of the MEMORY keys (#43)
quickly

By pressing the VIEW key (#39) a split image with all 9 pictures of the memory can be
displayed. When pressing the VIEW key for 4 seconds, a menu appears on the screen
asking if you would like to fill the memory with “AUTO SNAPSHOT” or if you would like to
"ERASE MEMORY" (grey pictures). When choosing “AUTO SNAPSHOT” the Visualizer
stores a new image every second until all 9 memory locations are full.

The functional settings of memory erasing can be changed in the on-screen menu (manually or automatically).

Snapshot key
By pressing the SNAPSHOT key (#36) the currently showed image will be stored in the next
free memory. As all 9 memory locations are full, a message appears on the screen "Memory
FULL!", "Hold SNAPSHOT to erase oldest". By pressing the SNAPSHOT key for 2 seconds,
the memory Overwrite Mode will be activated. The stored pictures can be overwritten by
pressing the SNAPSHOT key quickly. The Memory Overwrite Mode will be de-activated by
pressing the SNAPSHOT key for 2 seconds or by switching off the unit.

On Visualizers with serial number lower than 1008068, the "VIEW" key is named "ALL".
The SNAPSHOT key is available on Visualizers with serial number 1008068 and higher only.

Image Memory for 9 Images

For improving the readability of text, sketches or x-rays, the text mode can be activated by
pressing the programmed PRESET-key (#34).
This mode enhances the contrast of the picture. Please note that the colors are now darker
than usual
. To switch off the text enhancement mode, press the programmed PRESET-key
again. When the text enhancement mode is in use, the message "TEXT" is permanently
displayed on the output.

This should remind the user to switch off the text mode when it is no longer required. It
should also prevent users trying to correct dark colors by opening the iris, resulting in a
poorly adjusted picture.

Text Mode

The current image can be captured by pressing the FREEZE-key (#30 or #40).
When pressing the FREEZE-key for 2 seconds, preset 1 will be recalled (see page 9).
The DVI- and RGB outputs of the Visualizer can be set to output different signals. One of
them can always output the live image of the Visualizer camera, while the other one can be
set to output a "freeze" image.
This can be used for a "Live Picture to Freeze Picture Comparison" on two monitors or
screens with just one Visualizer.
While one display shows the "freeze" image that can be used for comparison, with the "live"
image showed by the other display (other output).
