If the blade tension is too low, the blade will jump out of the deflection facility.
RISK of injuries!
The saw-blade must run in the centre on the wheels. The wheels are machined convexly so that
the teeth may run free.
5.4
Changing the Saw blade
Always wear protective gloves. Protect your eyes.
Switch off the machine, press EMERGENCY STOP.
Remove wheel covers and saw - band covers.
Release the band tension by turning the star-shaped handle to the left. Pull the band out of
the deflection facilities and remove.
Install new blade, teeth pointing towards the front and in the cutting direction.
Insert blade in deflection facility and tension by turning the star-shaped handle to the right.
Manually turn the wheels in the cutting direction in order to verify correct seating of the
band.
Reinstall wheel covers and saw - band covers.
When opening up new saw bands, there exists the risk that they may forcefully
spring open and cause injuries, particularly to the face!
Swivel axis of ball-bearing with bolts 2 + 4 slightly towards the front so
that the blade does not jump off
