Problem

Pipetted volume too

low/Pipetting key cannot

be pushed fully down to

the end plate.

The tip has been installed too

far into the tip mount. Piston

rod is loose.

- Remove the tip (= Transferpettor-cap).

- Tighten the piston rod locking device.

Pipette leaks.

The tip does not fit properly.

Damaged seal.

- Reinstall the tip (= Transferpettor-cap) and slide it

on again.

Air bubbles in the liquid

drawn in.

The liquid was drawn in too

quickly.

The tip does not fit properly.

Damaged seal.

- Let the pipetting key slide back slowly.

- Reinstall the tip (= Transferpettor-cap) and slide it

on again.

Liquid above the seal.

Damaged tip or seal.

- Change tip (= Transferpettor-cap) or seal.
