5 Commissioning
Warning
Be careful not to squash your fingers when the stop lever moves in.
S Make sure that nobody can place his/her fingers in the path of the stop lever
or other moving parts and that there are no objects in this path. You will then
prevent injury to human beings and damage to property.
Please note
Excessive residual energy during impact
will damage the stop lever.
S Make sure that the stop lever is placed
in a collision−free position.
S Observe the commissioning regulations
for linear module type HMP−...−B−...Ă.
Preparing commissioning
Setting an intermediate position:
1. Remove the housing cover (A).
2. Push the guide tube by hand into the:
ć retracted end position
(with HMP−...−Z1A−...),
ć extended end position
(with HMP−...−Z1E−...).
3. Slowly pressurize the side of the interĆ
mediate position module Z1 A/Z1E which
swings out the stop lever.
4. Push the guide tube in the stroke direction onto the stop lever.
5. Slowly pressurize linear module type HMP−...−B−... in the direction of the stop
of the intermediate position.
