Set-up and operation

Connect your machine with the mains cable (7) to your wall socket and the integrated socket
on the back side of the machine. The Smart Matrix must be used only and always with a
grounded mains wall socket. DANGER if not !!!

Important : When connecting your machine to the mains voltage, always make
sure that you are using the machine with the correct voltage, supplied in your
surrounding or country. On the back panel you will find an indication sign
( sticker ), with the appropriate information.

The operation of the

Smart Matrix

is very easy

and efficient : There are only two switches built

into the front panel. The upper switch operates

the left and right movement of the platter and

the lower one is for the vacuum function. Each

switch is indicated with letters in the front

panel : „MOTOR“ (upper switch) and

„VACUUM“ (Lower switch) .

By pushing the switch „MOTOR“ the platter will

move. To switch between left and right

movement you can choose between (I) and (II)

indicated on the switch.

Using the „VACUUM“ switch the vacuum process will be started.

Please proceed in the following order:

1. Place the LP on the platter, while the vacuum tube is positioned to the right

towards the housing and hand tighten the puck (3) onto the spindle.

2. Switch on the „MOTOR“ .

3. Take the bottle with the cleaning fluid ( accessory bag ) and cut off the

marked top of the dispenser. Place the clearaudio

Pure Groove

cleaning brush

onto the LP and dispense the fluid onto the LP. Please note: The fluid should

cover the whole LP evenly. Too much fluid will spill onto the record or onto

the label.

4. Please note :

If too much fluid is applied, please wipe the fluid with an appropriate towel or

similar material, to prevent any damage to the label or the machine.
