5. Accessories
Below we would like to inform you about the accessories of the Smart Matrix which
are available. You can purchase the spare parts or accessories either at your dealer,
distributor or directly from clearaudio at : www.analogshop.de
Vacuum arm tubes :
Your
Smart Matrix is equipped with the arm tube for vacuuming regular records / LP’s,
30 cm LP´s (Standard). Therefore there are two more arm tubes available, for the use of the
following records and sizes :
⇒ 10-Inch/ 25 cm LP´s, EP’ s and Shellac records or
⇒
7-Inch Singles
Micro fabric cleaning stripes :
The provided micro fabric stripes are able to even get dust and dirt out of the lower parts of
the record grooves. The exchange stripes provided from clearaudio are already cut to the
correct and needed length. Depending on the usage, especially if a lot of very dirty records
have been cleaned, you should change the stripes every 200-300 record sides. Please keep in
mind that after changing the micro fabric stripes, the machine should not be used for 24
hours. The full contact of the glue will appear after 24 hours. If used too soon, the stripes
will not hold properly to the arm tube and damage may occur to your records.
Record clamp „Smart Seal“:
In addition to the provided record puck, there is the „Smart Seal“ available. This clamp is
specially equipped with a rubber seal, which covers the complete label of the record while
cleaning. A perfect accessory which makes the cleaning even faster and more secure.
Recorder cleaning fluid „Pure Groove“:
In general, we recommend the „Pure Groove“ liquid. This fluid works ideally for cleaning
dust, dirt, residues or leftovers from the pressing procedure. It evaporates completely after
using and does not leave any residue on the record.
Record mat :
If you should need a new record mat for any reason, you should use the original clearaudio
record mat, because it is specially sealed in case of antistatic, and prevents electrostatic
charges.
