Wartung und Pflege
1. ReinigendesTrocknergehäuses
mit Seifenwasser oder mit handelsüb­
lichem lösungsmittelfreiem (mildem)
Haushaltreinigungsmittel.
Dies gilt auch für die Reinigung von
Bedienblende, Kunststoff- und Gum­
miteilen.
Zeigt sich nach längerer Zeit auf der
Trommel ein Belag, so sollte diese ge­
legentlich mit einem Essigtuch o.ä.
ausgewischt werden.
2. Reinigen der Innentür samt
Gummidichtung der Einfüllöff­
nung gleich nach dem Trocknen mit
einem feuchten Tuch.
3. Reinigen des Luftkanals
Von Zeit zu Zeit, nämlich dann, wenn
eine größere Menge Flusen sichtbar
wird.
Dazu am Gitter unten die beiden Rast­
haken nach oben drücken (s. Abb. 4),
Gitter herausnehmen und Flusen ent­
fernen. Anschließend Gitter wieder
einsetzen.
Electrical connection
The tumble dryer is equipped as standard
for a rated voltage of 220-230 V with
connection lead and plug. Special regulations of the local electricity
supply authority may also have to be
observed.
Connection must only be made via a
correctly installed earthed socket outlet
to 220-230 V a.c. A16 amp fuse must be
fitted.
The manufacturer cannot be held
liable for damage arising from the
non-observance of the safety
reguiations.
Important instructions for drying
Before starting up for the
first time
It is advisable to load a few moist
cloths into the dryer and to let it run for
about 15 minutes. This ensures that
no dust and dirt is left in the drum.
Preparing for drying
■ Please check that the washing is suit­
able for tumble drying. Most fabric
labels will contain a care instruction
with the corresponding symbol.
Drying symbols and their meaning:
Normal drying (full heat output)
-e.g. for cotton
B
e
Gentle drying (reduced heat
output)
-for easy-care fabrics, e.g.
acrylic
Must not be dried in a tumble
dryer e.g. wool and textiles with
wool content, silk

The washing must be thoroughly
spin dried before tumble drying.
Spin speed of the automatic
washing machine 800 rpm mini­
mum, in the case of spin dryers
ideally 2800 rpm.
Easy-care items, too, e.g. shirts,
should be briefly pre-spun before
drying (depending on crease resi­
stance approx. 30 seconds or using
the special brief spin setting of your
washing machine).
Overloading will interfere with correct
drying and also causes severe crea­
sing. Underloading is uneconomical,

Bed linen and cushion covers should
be buttoned up, so that small Items
cannot be trapped in them. Close
zips, hooks and eyes, tie together
loose belts, apron strings etc.
If individual items are still damp after
drying, set a brief post-drying time, but
at least 20 minutes. This will be
