4. Installation of the safety sensor

Initial installation of the safety sensor (retrofit kit)
Installation/sensor
The sensor is installed in the reverse order. The following steps must
be observed:
x Fasten the sensor with three bolts to the body of the hitch (sup-
plied).
x Use medium-strength bolt adhesive.
x Assignment of safety sensor and display - see separate
operating instructions at:

Lubricant:
x Use RENOLIT MP multi-purpose grease.
Tightening torques:
x Support cap on the hitch body 25 Nm
x Sensor on the hitch body 4 Nm
Safety notes:
ATTENTION!
The locking pin (B) may not project out when the hitch
is closed.
