5 Measuring
Setup of the Serial Interface
All signs have to be in capital letters and shall be sent and received as an ASCII code.
Setup:
Baud Rate 9600
Data bit 8
Stop bit 1
Parity None
Handshake XON/OFF
 Pin Assignment of PLC Interface XS 5 (97123) and PLC Interface XS 9 (97103)

Selection Command
Before you start the desired dispensing cycle you have to select the appropriate
reference.
The command you have to send is “X” and the number of the reference.
For example, you send
X0 = Reference 0 is active
X1 = Reference 1 is active
X2 = Reference 2 is active
X3 = Reference 3 is active

: :
X9 = Reference 9 is active
The answer you get is “ok”. This means you can start your desired dispensing cycle.
If you get an Error message, send the command again. In case of further Error
messages see Chapter 7.

Multiple choice of reference dispensing is not possible.
