Start-up
5.1
Preparation
Change the gas cartridges in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
Caution! All pieces that come into contact with oxygen must be kept free from oil and
grease. Risk of explosion!

Check to make sure that all threaded connections and seals (e.g., cone, nut and hose nipple)
are clean and not damaged.
Î
Connect hoses (13 and 14) in accordance with DIN EN 559 or DIN 4815 (liquid gas) to torch
inlet connections (15) or pressure regulator outlet connections (3) or flashback arrestor (25
or 26) for oxygen, 4 or 6 mm internal diameter
