Application Maintenance
This section describes how to modify, repair, or remove (uninstall) Ascent Xtrata Pro
components.
Modifying Ascent Xtrata Pro
The Ascent Xtrata Pro installation application installs and registers the custom
components for Ascent Capture only if a certified version of Ascent Capture is
detected on the computer. If you install a certified version of Ascent Capture after you
install Ascent Xtrata Pro, you can modify your Ascent Xtrata Pro installation with the
Ascent Xtrata Pro Setup Maintenance program. The Ascent Xtrata Pro Setup
Maintenance routine allows you to select the components to install.
To modify Ascent Xtrata Pro

Shut down any applications (including the Control Panel, virus detection
software, and toolbars) that might be running on the station where you want
to modify the Ascent Xtrata Pro installation.

Insert the Ascent Xtrata Pro installation CD into the CD drive. The CD
supports AutoPlay, so the installation will automatically start. (If it does not
start, run Setup.exe from the CD.) The installation program will detect the
installed version of Ascent Xtrata Pro and automatically start the Ascent
Xtrata Pro Setup Maintenance program.

Select Modify.

Click Next and follow the instructions presented to you.
Removing Ascent Xtrata Pro
You can remove (uninstall) all Ascent Xtrata Pro components from the Ascent Xtrata
Pro Setup Maintenance program or the Add/Remove Programs utility from the
Windows Control Panel.
