8 Installation Guide For Ascent Xtrata Pro
To start the Ascent Xtrata Pro Server automatically as a service

Open the Service Panel (Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services) and
select the “Ascent Xtrata Pro Batch Processing Service”.

Right click to open the properties dialog box for the service.

Change the Startup type to “Automatic.” (To disable automatic startup,
change the Startup type back to “manual”.)
To change user account for Ascent Xtrata Pro Services
Perform the following steps for the five services (Ascent Xtrata Pro Batch
Processing Service and Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Services 1-4).

Open the Service Panel (Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services).

Right click to open the properties dialog box for the service.

Select the Log On tab.

Change the user account as needed. The account must have network access.
To change ports for Ascent Xtrata Pro Batch Processing Services
The ports for the extraction services can be configured. The set up inserts an entry
for each service “Port1”, “Port2”, “Port3”, “Port4” for the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LCI\Mailroom\3.0\Server
You can set the value for the ports manually by editing the corresponding registry
key. Emtpy registry keys are inserted by the installation program, by default
port 9211 is used for Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Service 1,
port 9212 is used for Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Service 2,
port 9213 is used for Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Service 3 and
port 9214 is used for Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Service 4.
To change language for Ascent Xtrata Pro Services
The language for services can be configured by the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LCI\Mailroom\3.0\Server
Insert the string for the language for the key ”ServiceLanguage” to a valid
language key. Valid language keys can be found in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LCI\Mailroom\3.0\Languages
Enter for example “en-US” to provide English language or “de-DE” to provide
German language.
