Attention
The Automatic Film Applicator
works with the moving traverse
carriage. No parts may be touched
or held during operation. Once the
FORWARD key is activates no
work may be carried out within the
area of the carriage.
Please note following points:
• This Film Applicator has a high
maxium speed (500 mm/sec).
• During the film application
process the applicator is driven
from left to right.
• Familiarise yourself with the
layout of the front panel
keyswitches.
• The "STOP" switch will
immediately stop the
carriage in any position.

• At traverse speeds from 50-200
mm/sec, the instrument will give
an audible warning after of
depressing the FORWARD
key.
• At traverse speeds from > 200
mm/sec, the instrument will give
an audible warning after pressing
of the FORWARD key, and the
display will show a countdown
from 3 -2 -1.
Then the carriage will start
moving.
• Ensure that the operator has no
loose clothing which he could be
caught in moving parts.
