Description of the analog I/O interface
The
analog I/O interfaces are accessories for VACUUBRAND
-
Controller CVC 3000 from software version V 1.00 (configuration from software version V 1.40, see
section “Configuration of the interfaces”)
-
Controller VNC 2 from software version V 1.21
-
Measurement device DCP 3000 from software version V 1.00
The analog I/O interface is designated to be connected to the VACUU•BUS
TM
female plug (with exten-
sion cable VACUU•BUS
TM
).
Connect the analog I/O interface only if the device is shut off.
When switching on the device the analyzable analog I/O interfaces are detected automatically, depend-
ing on controller / measurement device. Not analyzable interfaces are ignored.
Each analog I/O interface needs an individual BUS address (see section “Configuration of the inter-
faces”). Do not use interfaces with the same address within one BUS system. Configuration of the inter-
faces is only possible with the controller CVC 3000.
At the
CVC 3000 the interfaces can be used for
- output of vacuum as analog voltage 0-10 V (factory set)
- input of set vacuum and output of actual vacuum as analog voltage 0-10 V
- output of motor speed as analog voltage 0-10 V
- input and output of motor speed as analog voltage 0-10 V
At the
VNC 2 the interfaces can be used for
- output of vacuum as analog voltage 0-10 V (factory set)
- input and output of vacuum as analog voltage 0-10 V (only after configuration with a vacuum control-
ler CVC 3000)
At the
DCP 3000 the interfaces can only be used in the delivery status as output of vacuum as analog
voltage 0-10 V.
Error messages when removing (pull off at the controller) an analog I/O interface
CVC 3000: Interfaces configured for input and output of vacuum or motor speed lead to an error mes-
sage.
VNC 2: Interfaces configured for input and output of vacuum lead to an error message.
The error message due to a removed analog I/O interface has to be reset by loading the factory setting
at the controller.
Attention: If loading the factory setting at the controller CVC 3000 all programs are deleted!
