Description of the digital I/O interface
The
digital I/O interfaces are accessories for VACUUBRAND
-
Controller CVC 3000 from software version V 1.00 (configuration from software version V 1.30, see
section “Configuration of the interfaces”).
-
Controller VNC 2 from software version V 1.00
-
Measurement device DCP 3000 from software version V 1.00 (configuration from software version
V 1.00).
The digital I/O interface is designated to be connected to the VACUU•BUS
TM
female plug (with extension
cable VACUU•BUS
TM
).
Connect the digital I/O interface only if the device is shut off.
When switching on the device the analyzable digital I/O interfaces are detected automatically, depend-
ing on controller / measurement device. Not analyzable digital I/O interfaces are ignored.
Each of the digital I/O interfaces need an individual BUS address (see section “Configuration of the
interfaces”). Do not use interfaces with the same address within one BUS system. Configuration of the
interfaces is possible with the controller CVC 3000 or the measurement device DCP 3000.
At the
CVC 3000 the digital I/O interfaces can be used after appropriate configuration as
- fault indicator (factory set)
- remote (start-stop) module
- end module
- valve adapter module for valves at hand
At the
VNC 2 the digital I/O interfaces can be used after appropriate configuration as
- fault indicator (factory set)
- remote (start-stop) module (only after configuration with CVC 3000 or DCP 3000)
At the
DCP 3000 the digital I/O interfaces can only be used in the delivery status as fault indicator.
Error messages when removing (pull off at the controller) a digital I/O interface
CVC 3000 and VNC 2: Interfaces configured as fault indicator or remote module lead to an error mes-
sage.
The error message due to a removed digital I/O interface has to be reset by loading the factory setting
at the controller.
Attention: If loading the factory setting at the controller CVC 3000 all programs are deleted!
