“DANGER!” indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Installation work and servicing may only be carried out by suitably trained and skilled
electricians!
The insulating cover inside the DC isolating box 40/60 must be fitted back in place when
the installation work is finished.
The DC isolating box 40/60 must not be mounted in locations subject to explosion
hazards.
The module cables may only be connected up to the terminal box after they have been
made electrically dead. For this reason, interrupt the module circuit somewhere else
when connecting up the terminals, or cover up the modules.
The DC voltage of the photovoltaic installation may not be higher than 530 V in open
circuit!
The cover of the DC isolating box 40/60 must always be closed! It may only be opened
when the DC isolator needs to be actuated!
Before carrying out repairs and maintenance, always disconnect the inverter on the
mains side (AC side) first, and only then open the DC isolator.
The cabling inside the DC isolating box must be earth-fault proof and short-circuit proof!
Ensure that cables are connected to the correct poles.
WARNING! Solar modules can create fatally hazardous voltages as a result of
sunlight. Also, solar modules cannot be switched off! While they are being
installed, then, special precautions must be taken in order to ensure safe
operation. If necessary, cover up the modules.
“NOTE!” indicates a situation which implies a risk of impaired welding
results, and damage to the equipment.
“WARNING!” indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
“CAUTION!” indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury. It may also be used to alert
alert against unsafe practices that may cause property damage.
“Important!” indicates practical hints and other useful, specific information.
It is not a signal word for a harmful or dangerous situation.
Whenever you see any of the symbols shown above, you must pay even
closer attention to the contents of the manual!
