2. Aligning the handlebar grips
Sit on the bicycle in riding position.
Turn the contact surface of the handlebar grips so that the full ball of
your hand is supported. Avoid angling your wrist too much and look for
the most comfortable grip position for you. After a few short test rides
change the position angle in small steps.
The basic setting for the handlebar grips is horizontal.

Find the most comfortable position by trial and error.

3. Aligning the bar ends
For comfort alignment (3a) sit on the bicycle in riding position.
For sporting alignment (3b) of the bar ends stand out of the saddle.
Turn the grip area on the bar ends so that your wrists are supported in
a straight, relaxed position. Avoid angling your wrist too much and look
for the most comfortable bar end position for you. After a few short
test rides change the position angle in small steps.

Find the most comfortable position by trial and error.

4. Final assembly of the handlebar grips with bar end
After you have found the optimum handlebar grip position and bar end
angle for your needs tighten the socket screws on both handlebar grips
to a torque of 2 Nm (1c).

The clamping screw on the bar end is tightened to a torque of 5-7 Nm

(1d).
