Electrical devices do not belong in the hands of children. Do not allow children to use electrical

devices when not under supervision. Children may not comprehend the presence of potential risks.
Keep the packaging away from children too as there is danger of suffocation.

If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or strange smells, switch off the device immediately and

remove the plug from the wall socket. If this occurs the device should no longer be used and should
be inspected by authorised service personnel. Do not inhale any smoke which could have originated
from a fire in the device. However, if you do inhale smoke, please consult a doctor. Smoke
inhalation can be harmful.

The lamp housing and the power cable must not be damaged in any way. Stop using the lamp

immediately if you find any cables damaged. If the housing or cable is damaged, you could
potentially get an electric shock.

Do not open the housing of the lamp - it contains no serviceable parts. If the housing is opened, you

run the risk of an electric shock.

Therefore, make sure that the lamp is not subject to excessive vibration, as this can cause the light

bulb to break. There is a risk of injury if the bulb is broken!

Do not hang anything from the lamp. The plastic body is not designed to carry weight. In particular,

do not place flammable materials on or behind the lamp. This can damage the lamp and could
cause a fire.

Never use any optical devices such as a magnifying glass to look directly into the light beam - this

could damage your eyes! If you suspect any eye damage, consult a doctor.

Cables

Unplug the cable by holding the plug and never pull on the cable itself. Never place the device, pieces of
furniture or other heavy objects on the cable and take care that this does not become trapped. Never
make knots in the cable and do not tie it together with other cables. All cables should be positioned so
that nobody can trip over them or be obstructed by them. Never use adapter plugs or extension cables
that do not comply with the current safety regulations in your country, and do not modify any of the cables
yourself. A damaged cable should only be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized service center.

Before Getting Started

Unpack the lamp. For additional transport protection, the energy-saving luminaire is packed in an extra
packaging. Open the packaging, remove the luminaire and insert it by rotating clockwise into the holder.
Hold the luminaire always on the socket and never on the glass body. The luminaire should always be
touched using a cloth.
