only) : recording with the External Camera Module
Recording Movie using the External Camera Module
Your Sports Camcorder offers the ability to record those thrilling moments. Whether
you're snow boarding or skiing, you can record the moments with the External Camera
Module and accessories.
1. Connect the External Camera
Module cable to the multi jack of
Sports Camcorder.
◆ You may fix the External Camera
Module using a Tripod
(not supplied), Rubber Mount, or
Mounting Band.
2. Press the [PowEr/record /Stop]
button of External Camera Module
for more than 2 seconds.
◆ The power of the Sports
Camcorder and the External
Camera Module is turned on.
◆ If you press the [POWER] button of the Sports
Camcorder, only the Sports Camcorder is turned on.
3. Turn the Picture rotator to the desired direction.
◆ The Picture Rotator turns 90 degrees left or right to
select the desired picture angle.
4. Press the [PowEr/record /Stop] button of the External
Camera Module to start recording.
◆ LED lamp lights in red.
◆ Press the [Record /Stop]button of the Sports Camcorder
to start recording.
5. Press the [PowEr/record /Stop] button of the External
Camera Module to stop recording.
◆ Recording stops and the Sports Camcorder is ready
again.
6. After recording, to prevent battery consumption, press
the [PowEr/record /Stop] button of the External
Camera Module more than 2 seconds to turn off.
◆ The power of the Sports Camcorder and the External
Camera Module is turned off.
◆ If you press the [POWER] button of the Sports
Camcorder, only the Sports Camcorder is turned off.
[ Notes ]
✤ The External Camera Module is available for recording
movie only.
✤ You can use the [POWER/Record /Stop] button of the External Camera Module to
power on/off and to start/stop recording simultaneously.
✤ Multi jack is used as a Earphones jack, AV Input/Output jack and External Camera
Module jack.

Externes Kameramodul verwenden
(Nur VP-X300L): Aufnahmen mit dem externen Kameramodul
Videoaufnahmen mit dem externen Kameramodul
Mit Ihrem Camcorder können Sie besonders aufregende Momente festhalten - ob beim
Snowboarden oder Skifahren. Verwenden Sie für solche Aufnahmen das externe Kameramodul
und das Zubehör.
1. Verbinden Sie das Kabel des
externen Kameramoduls mit dem
Multifunktionsanschluss des Sports
Camcorders.
◆ Sie können das externe
Kameramodul auf ein Stativ
schrauben (nicht im Lieferumfang
enthalten), mit der Gummihalterung
oder dem Halteband befestigen.
2. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-/
Aufnahme-/Stopptaste des externen
Kameramoduls länger als 2 Sekunden.
◆ Der Sports Camcorder und externes
Kameramodul werden eingeschaltet.
◆ Wenn Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste des
Sports Camcorders drücken, wird nur
der Sports Camcorder eingeschaltet.
3. Drehen Sie die Bilddreheinrichtung in die gewünschte
richtung.
◆ Die Bilddreheinrichtung kann um 90° nach links oder rechts
gedreht werden.
4. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-/Aufnahme-/Stopptaste des
externen Kameramoduls, um die Aufnahme zu starten.
◆ Die LED-Anzeige leuchtet rot.
◆ Drücken Sie die Aufnahme-/Stopptaste des Sports
Camcorders, um die Aufnahme zu starten.
5. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-/Aufnahme-/Stopptaste des
externen Kameramoduls, um die Aufnahme zu beenden.
◆ Die Aufnahme hält an und der Sports Camcorder schaltet in
den Bereitschaftsmodus.
6. Zum Stromsparen drücken Sie nach der Aufnahme die Ein/
Aus-/Aufnahme-/Stopptaste am externen Kameramodul
länger als 2 Sekunden, um das Gerät auszuschalten.
◆ Der Sports Camcorder und das externe Kameramodul
werden ausgeschaltet.
◆ Wenn Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste des Sports Camcorders
drücken, wird nur der Sports Camcorder ausgeschaltet.

✤ Das externe Kameramodul ist nur für Videoaufnahmen geeignet.
✤ Sie können die Ein/Aus-/Aufnahme-/Stopptaste des externen Kameramoduls sowohl zum
Ein-/Ausschalten als auch zum Aufnahmestart/-stopp verwenden.
✤ Der Multifunktionsanschluss dient zum Anschluss von Ohrhörern, AV-Ein-/Ausgabe-
Geräten und dem externen Kameramodul.
