2.2

Installing HardBoot CCX


Perform the following steps to connect a HardBoot CCX to a CATCenter.

1. Plug the supplied data cable (RJ11 -> Sub-D 9) into the output port

(RS232) on the HardBoot CCX and the input port (RS232) on the
CATCenter.



2. Assign a slave number to each slave by setting the DIP-switch

marked “Slct” on the front panel of the device (see table below).


Notes:

-

Always turn the device of before
changing the DIP-switch settings.

-

Give each slave a unique address.
No two devices are allowed to have the same address.

The slave number defined here is subsequently required to tell
the system in the CATCenter OSD on which slave the power
supply of the currently selected target is located (see

Chapter 3

).
