2. Operation
Operation is the same for both versions. For hitching and
unhitching, the legal regulations must be observed.
No personnel may be standing between the vehicles!
2.1 Hitching
x Remove the cotter pin (C)
x Remove the locking bolt (B) (see Fig. 8).
• Lift the latch (N) and turn it to the side.
• Towing device: place the dome/ drawing eye over the ball/piton.
• Lower it using a suitable device (support foot).
• Press the latch (N) forwards onto the ball/piton and insert the lok-
king bolt (B) and secure it with the cotter pin (C).
• Adjust the clearance between the latch and the dome (max. 0.5
mm) with the adjustment bolt (E) (see Fig. 8).
2.2 Unhitching
x Secure the trailer against rolling away.
x Remove the cotter pin (see Fig. 8).
x Remove the locking bolt (B) (see Fig. 8).
x Pull the latch (A) upwards and turn it to the side.
x Swing the latch (N) backwards.
x Use a suitable device (support foot) to lower the drawbar with
dome/ drawing eye.
x Move the tractor vehicle forwards.
