EMPTYING THE BIN:
If the bin is full (8), the machine switches off. The
pilot lamp II (6) comes on. Proceed as follows:
- If necessary, unlock the door, open it and pull
the bin out (8) (fig. 4).
- Push the emptied bin (8) back into the machine
housing again as far as it will go, as shown
(Fig. 5), and close the door. The pilot lamp II
(6) flashes.
- Acknowledge the ready state (press Start/Stop
on the keyswitch). The pilot lamp II (6) goes
out.
Note: The machine only works when the bin is
fully pushed in and the door is closed!
When “Bin full” is displayed, the
bin must always be emptied before
continuing to use the machine.
CONTROLS:
5 = Pilot lamp I (Fig. 2)
“Ready”
Comes on when the main switch (1) is
switched on.
Note: Every time the machine is switched on,
the control is automatically re-initialised. To
indicate this, this pilot lamp flashes for a few
seconds after the machine is switched on.
6 = Pilot lamp II (Fig. 2)
a) “Acknowledge”
Flashes when the machine is switched
off and on again at the main switch or
when readiness of the machine has
not yet been acknowledged again after
elimination of a fault.
Confirm operability of the machine by
briefly pressing the pushbutton “Cutter
forwards” (2) or the pushbutton “Stop
cutter” (3).
b) “Overload cutting unit”
Flashes when the cutter is blocked due to
an overload (see description under “OVER-
LOAD OF THE CUTTING UNIT”).
c) “Door open”
Comes on if the door is open. The
machine is automatically switched off
and cannot be started as long as the door
is open.
d) “Bin full”
Comes on if the bin is full and must be
emptied. The machine is automatically
switched off at the same time (see
description under “EMPTYING THE
BIN”).
e) „Motor fault“
Comes on when the motor has been
overloaded. The machine cannot be started
during the cooling-down phase of the motor.
At the same time, the pilot lamp I (5) (fig.
2) goes out.
USE OF THE MACHINE:
The machine is only designed for
compacting empty non-returnable
plastic bottles and drink cans. Glass
bottles, tin cans for preserves or
other solid materials such as metal
sheets or pieces of wood etc. must
not be fed in!
Before using the machine, put safety
goggles on.
Proceed as follows:
1. Switch the machine on at the main switch (1)
(Fig. 2) (position “I”). The pilot lamp I (5) (Fig.
2) flashes briefly and is then permanently lit.
In addition, the pilot lamp II (6) (Fig. 2) also
flashes.
2. Briefly press either the pushbutton “Cutter
forwards” (2) or “Stop cutter” (3) once. The
pilot lamp II (6) (Fig. 2) goes out.
3. Press the pushbutton “Cutter forwards” (2)
(Fig. 2) again. After a certain time delay, the
cutter runs forwards.
4. Feed non-returnable plastic bottles or drinks
cans into the supply shaft (7) (Fig. 3). The
material is compacted and fed into the
catchbasket.
6. After the compacting process, press the
pushbutton “Stop cutter” (3). The cutter
stops.
